Author Checklist

General Rule

1. Only manuscripts which were not published else will be accepted.

2. The authors comply with the IJODH Code of Ethics.

3. The manuscript has been prepared in compliance with the journal’s Instructions for Authors.

Preparation

1. Manuscripts to be submitted are to be typed using Microsoft Word (doc, docx). Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the Author Instructions. Submitted manuscripts that do not follow the author instructions, or that are otherwise considered unsuitable for publication will be returned to the author(s) without review. Please refer to the sample paper template for the format of headings, spacing, reference, font and size.

2. Manuscript Length: Submitted manuscripts must not exceed 8,000 words, including abstract, tables, and figures. Short reports and reviews should consist of 3,000 words or less. Unlimited length is allowed only when considered necessary.

3. Bibliography: APA 7th edition style is applied. Reference list should be provided next to the conclusion. with is required. Footnotes are allowed only for additional information or copyright attribution.

4. Images: Photographs or other illustrations should be submitted in digital form in high resolution JPG, EPS, PNG or TIFF formats (minimum 300 dpi; preferably 600 dpi). They should be submitted as separate files.

5. Abstracts: Abstracts will be published in English language. Other languages can be added by the author. Abstracts are to be written and uploaded after the final decision for acceptance. Abstracts must be no more than 300 words.

6. Biography: A brief biography of no more than 150-200 words, listing academic qualifications, posts held, current post and research interests.

Copyright & License Agreement

1. Copyright Policy: Authors are responsible for all content included in their submitted manuscripts. Upon acceptance for publication, authors retain the copyright to their article. All articles published in IJODH are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits anyone to freely use, share, adapt, and build upon the work, even for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.

2. Author Rights: Authors retain full copyright to their published article and may reuse it in whole or in part in future works (e.g., theses, dissertations, books), academic presentations, or institutional and subject repositories. Proper attribution to the original publication in IJODH is required in all such cases.

3. Author Agreement: By signing this Agreement, the Author(s) confirm that they have read and understood the above copyright and license policy and agree to publish the submitted article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), while retaining the copyright to their work.
